Corporate social responsibility

• Our company with a high sense of Corporate Social Responsibility takes the necessary actions aimed at contributing to environmental and social issues.

  Here in Chatzianastasiou Ch & Co, with the distinctive title Solution Medical we consider environmental developments a very serious matter and we constantly strive for environmentally sustainable development, which in the long term will contribute to the reduction of daily environmental waste, while at the same time helping to protect our planet.

  Nowadays, businesses are inseperable linked to the social whole in which they operate, directly affecting society and influenced by the data of their time and area of action.
  They must therefore recognise their responsibility to society and the environment, meaning to respect and preserve the principles and values that characterise our culture, such as respect for man, human dignity and the provision of equal opportunities and respect towards the environment, improvement of living standards and quality of life.

  The Hellenic Recycling Agency in the framework of its responsibilities shall ensure the organization and maintenance of the National Register of Producers in which all producers or distributors who fall under the following categories are mandatory:

  • Packaging and packaging waste
  • Waste electrical & electronic equipment

  Chatzianastasiou Ch & Co, is registered in both categories above

  For any product available on the Greek and European market, it is mandatory that the producer or the distributor is registered in order to exercise by law their activity and to participate in public tenders and competitions.

  For this reason, our company, conscious of its responsibility to society and its fellow human beings, is taking the necessary steps to this end.
  Specific:
  1) Participates in the System of Collective Alternative Management - "RECYCLING" (S.S.E.D.-RECYCLING). S.S.E.D.-RECYCLING is the only Alternative Packaging Management System that serves the packaging of all non-dangerous products.
  2) Our company is a member of the Collective System of Alternative Waste Management of Electrical and Electronic Equipment in Greece. It is registered and complies with the legislation on the recycling of devices in accordance with the Law on Medical Devices (excluding implantable and contaminated).

  Our company is known for its attitude and sensitivity towards people with disabilities. Therefore, we made sure that our headquarters and warehouse are easily accessible by wheelchair users.

  Our company has donated medical equipment and supplies to an African village for the operating needs of their local clinic in 2012.
  In the following years to this day the company has made various donations to organizations and institutions that do not have financial resources.

  The actions of Chatzianastasiou Ch. & Co, with the distinctive title Solution Medical do not stop here, and for the near future donations of consumable material to social dispensaries have been arranged.
