Dosage 1-2 drops daily dissolved in a glass of water.
Concentration of active iodine per drop equal to 0.0002 grams.
Lugol Iodine, known as Lugol Solution, is a solution of elemental iodine and potassium iodide in water used as an antiseptic and disinfectant, for emergency disinfection of drinking water and as a reagent for starch detection in standard laboratory and medical tests.
It is used to treat the active thyroid but also to protect the thyroid gland from radiation from radioactive forms of iodine.
