Embryo-transfer set OmniLong
Complete set for the transfer of embryos into the uterine cavity in IVF procedure, when cervical access is difficult. Recommended in case of difficult cervix (i.e. cervical stenosis) thanks to malleable stainless steel stylet.
The set is composed by:
– a light blue colored outer introducer (3) with graduated markings placed at 5-6-7-8 cm from the tip for a correct placement into the utherine cavity. The soft and clear distal tip (4) is rounded-shaped (9) and allows catheter shaping once the stylet is inserted (1); a luer lock connector serves as finger grip (2).
– an embryo transfer catheter composed by a rigid proximal portion (6), a soft distal portion (7) with a rounded radiopaque tip (8).
The catheter is provided with a luer-lock connector (5) for safe syringe connection.
Introducer length: 200 mm
Transfer catheter length: 250 mm
Beta irradiated to eliminate any risk of toxicity from ETO residual contamination.
