Somnotouch is a 24-hour monitoring system of basic patient parameters.
It uses an innovative patented algorithm to measure blood pressure through pulse passage time (PTT).
That is, the time it takes for the pulse wave to propagate along the vessel wall, in the case of SOMNOtouch ™ NIBP, from the left ventricle of the heart to the tip of the finger.
