KERN standard weights are available in all precision classes and in various materials, thus covering the entire range of scales. Choose between classes E, F & M.
Choosing the right standard weight with a calibration certificate is the sure solution to ensure the correct adjustment and calibration of a balance.
Scheduled and regular inspections of scales with standard weights guarantee the maintenance of the quality of a laboratory measurement and consequently of the company.
The wooden case can carry standard weights up to 1 Kg.
How to choose the right weight:
You need to know the weighing range of your scale as well as its weighing accuracy.
Then, the weight corresponding to the maximum measuring value that the balance can perform and the corresponding measurement accuracy of the balance is selected.
The accuracy of a balance can never be overall of the standard weight used to adjust the balance, and the accuracy of the standard weight must correspond to the readability (d) of the balance or be better.
Individual weight sets: you can create your own "personalized" weight set.
